If you have a small group interested visiting, arrangements can be made by beginning with the form below.  The observatory is small and houses a very large LX200-14" computerized telescope.  Except for kids doing school enrichment  - no research or personal projects.

Groups of mixed adults or children (8 yrs. old & older) -  interested in a basic exposure to observing and the many aspects of amateur astronomy are welcome.  Ideal for scout troupes, school classes, church groups, families, or other groups.  Perhaps you're shopping for a telescope or want to interest others in the endeavor.

Dr. Galloway is a learning-amateur but will gladly attempt answers about the sky, the technology, or the challenges and enjoyment of observing.  While we will plan a visit date, the clouds or weather might not agree - thus, the group sponsor might be notified at the last minute if rescheduling is necessary.

Fill-in and Submit this Request Form
